2015 StitchLiner 5500
The StitchLiner 5500 combines efficiency and ease of operation of flat sheet collating with the productivity, versatility and quality of a Horizon saddle stitching system. At up to 5,500 booklets an hour it’s ideal for short, medium and long production runs. The icon-based touch screen and automation allow even less experienced operators to quickly and easily set up a new booklet job. Horizon’s 4-page signature concept scores and then folds, thus eliminating the time-consuming intermediate folding process required for 8- and 16-page formats. The SPF-30 quick change saddle stitcher delivers high quality stitching on booklets up to 10mm thick. The in-line three knife trimming provides complete, high-quality finishing on even the thickest booklets. The U-shaped layout is floor-space efficient and very convenient for the operator to monitor the system without running back and forth.
